New advert for the Mercedes SLS AMG

I suspect this advert for the new Mercedes SLS AMG has more to do with selling Mercedes C180s to sales reps than the SLS itself, but I do like it especially the referencing to the original 300SL Gullwing.

Mercedes SLS AMG on the Carrera Panamericana

Mercedes have released this promo of the SLS AMG travelling on the same route as the legendary Carrera Panamericana road race in Mexico. Also featured are two ex Mercedes racing drivers John Fitch and Hans Herrman.

Mercedes SLS goes tunnel surfing

Is it real or is it CGI? Either way it's a nicely put together promo of the SLS. The new Merc GT is one of my favourite launches of 2009 (along with the Ferrari 458, and Porsche Boxster Spyder), and I would take one over a new Ferrari California.
